Painted Bridge by Wendy Wallace, a gripping story set in Victorian England that makes for
excellent reading. Anna Palmer finds herself in a private asylum, much to her
frustration and disbelief. Why has her husband put her there? What will be her
fate? A chilling, yet compelling read, certainly a book to recommend.
